IN THE NEWS nnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn
If you like your new pool... wait till you see what's planned for BTS' future!
PATRONS has donated $1,250,000 to date for the construction of Bellaire Town Square. We are thankful to our many contributors!
In May the Family Aquatics Center had its Grand Opening and Phase I was completed. Now we are looking forward for the Playground that is planned for Phase II to begin construction this Spring. We fulfilled or commitment to the City with a $250,000 contribution in September and two new Art Benches sponsored by the Bellaire Little League and the Brown Family were installed. New events took place including “Sweet Tarts” for Parks lemonade stands, our first Wine and Tapas Tasting, and now an urban camp-out “Tents in Town”, will benefit BTS’ development. PATRONS was honored to receive the Texas Recreation and Park Society (TRAPS) Service Club Award for state and the Advocate of the Year (Group) Award

BELLAIRE TOWN SQUARE
Patrons' current goal is to raise $3,000,000 to help combine and renovate Bellaire and Loftin Parks into Bellaire Town Square, a showpiece park and town center for the City of Bellaire.
|
|
Laurel Street has already been closed to accommodate a new aquatics facility and pool house. Additional features of Bellaire Town Square are to be constructed as funding becomes available. The conceptual master plan calls for Loftin Park to maintain its natural setting with green space plus a new trail system and playground, while Bellaire Park will feature an outdoor pavilion, an expansive events lawn and a skate park in addition to the existing tennis courts and baseball field.

THANKS AND CONGRATULATIONS BELLAIRE!
Thanks to the amazing generosity and enthusiasm of Bellaire residents and businesses, Patrons will
continue to be dedicated to the other features planned for Bellaire Town Square. Please donate now to help us continue
reaching our goals by clicking HERE!

Cindy Siegel, Mayor
"These two parks have served our city well for many decades, but as our city grows, we want to expand this area to become even fore family-friendly for our residents," said Cindy Siegel, mayor of the City of Bellaire. "Bellaire is unique in that it is a small town in a big city. I expect the new Bellaire Town Square will strengthen that small-town identity by serving as a community gathering place within walking distance to homes, shops and restaurants."
